Cockpit

New cockpit drain steel and two patches needs welding in. Old seats were screwed in from below. Those holes need filling in to make cockpit water-tight and seats re-built.

Port

Most of the problem rust areas are around companionway. Wooden hardware like hatch cover and rails were bolted through, requiring a massive ceiling disassembly to get to. I propose cutting out and welding a whole sheet in and mounting the cover and the wooden slider rails on stainless tabs instead, making it easy to take off for service.

Starboard

Foredeck

Bowsprit tube has rusted away underneath where it hovers above the deck (deck unaffected). Recommend fabricating a new bowsprit.

Irie is equipped with a mechanical 2-speed manual winch Seatiger 555.

Companionway

Galley has a working two burner stove and oven, fresh and salt water sinks with foot pumps. Ample storage for cooking equipment.

Midships

Tool Area

What otherwise would be a kid berth, is a massive storage area.

The floor basin drains to bilge and needs a sump pump plumbed. A Rule sump pump is on board and ready to install.

Saltwater intake seackock needs weldling

Vberth

Vberth underwent a quality of life refit that includes:

  • 12v socket
  • Bed platform slats for mattress airflow
  • Custom organic latext matress by Innature
  • Organic latex dipped coconut fiber mattress underlay for airflow

Engine

Irie needs a new engine, driveshaft and associated throttle controls fuel and exhaust plumbing.

Engine access is phenomenal for a boat her size that makes it easy to look after. She previously had a 1998 Yanmar 3HMF 28hp inboard diesel.

A brand new Beta30 is available for sale separately.

Lasdrop Gen 1 1/4" Shaft | 2 1/4" Stern Tube dripless shaft seal is on board and ready to install.

Electrical

Irie is equipped with a 440ah AGM battery bank made up of 2S2P 6V 220 cells purchased in May 2023.

Irie needs a partial rewire to create a tidy layout, managed by a classic BlueSea systems electical switchboard.

Refrigiration unit needs to be diagnosed for leaks. The compressor unit is operational, with a spare unit on board.
